What stands out the most to me about James’ photography is his versatility and range (it’s truly insane). While he excels at nature and wildlife, he isn’t niched and it shows!

I have 3 boys and a husband. Have you ever herded wild cats to water? That’s about the chaos that unfolds with 4 males! My husband is chucking handfuls of leaves as hard as he can at our children, the youngest insists on bringing his stuffed animal, and our teen would rather be wearing a hoodie. Our family photos are cherished memories in print, non-negotiables for this mom here, and James keeps the vibe natural, light and playful, while also willing to take a “weird” shot just to see how it turns out!

And let’s talk about his patience: I showed up with a sparkly tiara for our 13 year-old dog (because, yes, she was a princess), and he just rolled with it, got the perfect shots - ones we promised our teen we would get for his senior pictures. James was so flexible for this scheduling! She crossed the rainbow bridge shortly after, and I couldn’t be more grateful to James for making these photos happen.
